My Journey

I founded August Recognition in 2015 on a mission to help great people get recognised, and great behaviours get rewarded. I'm delighted to have been able to guide the leaders and teams of organisations all over the world to become multi-award-winners, helping them to achieve their goals and make an even bigger impact on the world.

As an award-winning entrepreneur and bestselling author, I understand the courage and commitment it takes to grow a thriving company, In 2021, I was invited to bring my fast-growing global awards agency into the Dent Global group. Led by Daniel Priestley, Dent's values supported my own, and now together we enable others to: Be Brave, Have Fun, and Make a Dent.

I am passionate about the power that recognition has to drive and change human behaviour for the better, and am regularly asked to speak on this subject, as well as running awards workshops. I am also dedicated to helping people deliver an outstanding Customer Experience, and was named one of the world’s Top 25 Customer Experience Influencers in 2020.

I have also been recognised for my contribution to the awards industry as an award-winning national and international awards judge. In 2023, my bestselling book WIN! book was selected as a finalist by the Business Book Awards, and just like our exceptional clients, we eagerly await the results!
